Adversidades Cromáticas is lé dieguê’s latest solo exhibition at Latino Arts, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI.

The exhibit is a body of work that reflects key aspects of the Latin American migrant experience. In a time when uncertainty and persecution shape the global climate, hovering at the edge of a tipping point, it is in adversity that Latinos triumph. Bridging the gaps created by past mistakes, our people are defined by resilience, hard work, and a warrior spirit. Through the energy and rhythm that pulse within our identity, these works aim to translate reality into a poetic approach to color.

This exhibition centers not so much on the migrant as an individual, but on the journey itself—a journey marked by countless events that color the path we transit. Adversidades Cromáticas seeks to explore and challenge the permanence of experiences through the arbitrary and dissonant use of color, showcasing works from the past 4 years of lé dieguê’s production, along with an essential component of collaborations with other invited artists.
